Craft Management System

Streamlining Module Configuration with CMS

CMS (Craft Management System) is a powerful desktop application designed to streamline module configuration for engineers and lab technicians. Developed using SDK, MFC, Win 32, WinDDK, and Visual C++, CMS ensures seamless local management via USB in various nodes, virtual hubs, or chassis. Its user-friendly interface simplifies the configuration process, making it an essential tool for both novice and experienced users in technical environments.

Enhancing Manufacturing and Remote Monitoring with CMS

CMS plays a crucial role in factory operations, aiding in board bring-up, setup, and internal diagnostics during manufacturing. It serves as an essential tool for initial firmware and FPGA upgrades, offering engineers specialized debugging tools and alarm configuration capabilities. CMS supports limited monitoring and management of individual modules through RS232 or USB connections to a PC or laptop. When deployed at the head end, it also enables remote monitoring of up to 8 or 16 nodes, providing field engineers with the flexibility required for various operational needs. Moreover, CMS adheres to ANSI/SCTE 38-2 2002 and SCTE HMS 063 standards, ensuring compatibility and reliability across a wide range of operations. These features make CMS indispensable for testing hardware performance, logging alarms, and managing failure conditions effectively in both local and remote scenarios.
